"Acyclovir vs Valtrex"
 
   Seeing as Valtrex is the only drug tested from transmission stats, do we know if Acyclovir is just as effective??

We can assume it is, as valtrex is a pro-drug of acyclovir (meaning its reformulated) and valtrex turns to acyclovir in the liver.

Also, since all antivirals work to reduce or slow the replication of the virus in your body, it can be assumed they are all effective in reducing transmission.
